Hey there…

Welcome to Glass Kitchen! I’ve been working with glass intermittently since 2020 when my in-laws stumbled upon a treasure trove of glass and we all decided someone should probably pick up the craft.

In December of 2024, I made a stained glass hotdog for a white elephant. The reaction, turned demand, was so explosive I had no choice but to open up a whole business… Hence Glass Kitchen was born.

Born & raised in Los Angeles, CA, I never thought there was a creative bone in my body but I’ve happily been proved wrong and hope to guide other hopeless would-be creatives down the same path. That said, prior to deciding my life’s purpose is to work with glass, I’ve spent the better part of a decade touring around the globe with musicians as a merchandise manager. While I’ve loved every second of it, I look forward to slowly coming off the road and building a community of artists and creatives here in Nashville.

All my love,

Lydia S. Tavera
